Money from Safe to Bank or G/L

You can transfer money from the safe to the bank at any time as long as there is money in the safe:

1. Click the icon, enter Safe Transfer List, and select the relevant link.
2. Select a safe.
3. On the General FastTab, select From Safe in the Transfer Direction field.
4. Select Bank Account in the Bal. Account Type field, and the bank's name or number in the Bal. Account No. field.
5. On the Lines FastTab, select a Bag No. from the list of bags in the safe.

   Tip: When you send a bag to the bank, you can print a confirmation. This is an important feature that lets you confirm the timing and amount sent to the bank.

6. Click Actions, then Posting - Post or Post and Print, depending on which one you prefer. You will be asked to confirm the action and you will get a confirmation later. The money that you have transferred is in the form of an amount in the bank and not in a bag.

Note: The transfer from Safe to G/L is done in the same way, except that you would select G/L Account for the Bal. Account Type.
